After having spent almost 17 years in Switzerland where we invested all our time and energy in our spiritual and psycological formation we finally moved to Portugal in August 2009. There we have a piece of Land called “ARROTEIA” with an old house on it that we hope to transform into a center for courses and also create a beautiful place where people can find rest and silence and regenerate in the beauty of the algarve light and nature.
With our architect Vera Schmidberger who is an expert in building with rammed earth we designed a meditation hall as well as rooms and apartments that will offer a healthy and comfortable atmosphere.
The algarve beaches are only about 10 km away from ARROTEIA. Yet who wants to cool off without getting into the car will be able to take a swimm in the 250m2 natural swimming pool.
The backlands offer a lot of space for walking f.e. down to a wonderful little river that also invites you for a bath (from February to about July depending on the amount of rain falling in wintertime).
